Georgia on My Mind: Heading to the NSC Congress and Expo in Atlanta

The road is calling: we’ll make the trip to Atlanta for the NSC Congress and Expo later this month.

The road is calling: we’ll make the trip to Atlanta for the NSC Congress and Expo later this month.

This month, we’re taking Roof Monitor on the road. It’s a nice time of year to enjoy a few days away from our beloved San Antonio, where stubborn heat will stick around even as those to our north get ready to welcome fall’s cooler temps.

Our first stop: Atlanta, Georgia, for the National Safety Council (NSC) Congress and Expo.

The NSC Congress and Expo is the largest gathering in the world for professionals in safety, environmental, and health fields––and we wouldn’t miss it. Slated for September 26-October 2 this year at the Georgia World Congress Center (285 Andrew Young International Blvd NW, 30303) in Atlanta, the event will draw more than 14,000 experts from leading mega-corporations such as Boeing, BP, Industrial Scientific, and more, as well as exciting small businesses like Roof Monitor, combining scope and entrepreneurship for a networking event that promises to be as educational as it is cutting edge.

The Expo segment of the event runs September 28-30, and Roof Monitor will have a booth in the heart of the action––Booth #4112, to be precise. We can’t wait to explain Roof Monitor’s purpose and functionality to our peers, and demonstrate the ways in which our two-piece smart roof system is transforming the way the world keeps buildings, employees, and investments safe.

Hands down, our favorite part of NSC Congress and Expo is the innovation that’s on display. It’s a stunning showcase of new technology––or even established technology applied in new ways––that is nothing short of inspiring. More than 1,000 companies will exhibit on the Expo floor, and just about everyone brings something different to the mix. As for the companies that offer similar services and/or products, the Expo provides a unique opportunity for buyers to compare competitors and ask questions in person.

Still debating whether or not to join us this year? In addition to the Expo, the NSC schedule features:

  • Marquee speakers, from both the public and private sectors, addressing specific industry concerns and forecasts
  • Peerless networking opportunities with leaders from around the world
  • More than 130 technical sessions that offer hands-on training in various industry-shaping trends
  • 30-plus professional development seminars

Students interested in the business of health, the environment, and safety, take note: registration for you is free.

It’s not too late to register. To claim your spot and learn more, visit congress.nsc.org. See you in Atlanta!
